This space is the online portfolio and shop for Jue Sota, a multidisciplinary Craftsperson , Artist, and builder.
Jue holistically integrates her playfulness and curiosity into her practice through experimenting in tool making, drawing, painting, carving into natural materials, foraging, sewing and installation sculpture.
Using natural materials and working predominately with earth, lime and straw, Jue repairs traditional buildings sympathetically, and uses a blend of pre- fossil fuel traditional and modern techniques on new buildings.
Clay and lime plaster relief at Chatham University, Eden Hall Campus
She is happy to take on commissions creating relief sculpture in lime and clay plaster walls, as well as sympathetic lime and earth repairs on traditional buildings and earth and lime work on new builds.
She also offers courses in lime and clay plastering and pointing.
